I’m Susan, I'm a harpist, I play the harp. I would be honored to play my harp for your wedding ceremony, in Southern California and Arizona

I have two harps. My indoor HARP. My beautiful Lyon & and Healy Prelude 40 lever harp. And my Delta C Salvi 28 string electric outdoor HARP. For all outdoor events. This outdoor Harp Features a wireless (no electricity) sound system. Perfect for your outdoor destination such as on a beach.

I feature my own Bose sound system. I can plug into most venues sound system. I also have a microphone for your use at your event for the minister, officiant, toasts and announcements. This system requires electricity available at your venue.

A harp playing at your wedding ceremony is an elegant magical addition and a memory that will last a life time.

My services include:

My services include a telephone consult to choose & personalize your ceremony music after booking;
Travel time to and from your venue;
I arrive in my street clothes ~ Set up ~ Tune my harp ~ Sound Check with my state of the art sound system;
Change into a gown you will choose from my wardrobe that will match the colors of your wedding;
Begin playing 30 minutes before ceremony begins while your family and guests are seated;
Play a song for the Mother(s) seating;
Play the ceremony ~ Pastor ~ Groom & Groomsmen ~ Bridesmaids & Bride Flower Girl & Ring Bearer in processional;
Play during ceremony if requested i.e. candle lighting;
Play wedding party out recessional;
Play/stay for photos if requested.

The entire gig will take a minimum of 4-5 hours the day of your event depending on your venue destination.

Hello!
About 10 years ago when I was 49 years old, I decided to fulfill my lifetime dream to play the harp. All my life as long as I can remember I've wanted to play the harp. I'd never touched one but I just knew I wanted to play and more than that I just knew I could!
I'd never played an instrument or knew how to read music. But it was now or never, so I jumped off the cliff and went for it Thelma and Louise style!
So I changed my life, went back to school, found private harp teachers, learned to read music, music theory classes, performance classes, and endless hours of practice to play my beloved harp. And in addition now I write and compose my own harp music.
I've done it, I'm now a harpist ! Dreams do come true with a little prayer persistence practice and perseverance!!

I have two Harps;

HARP # 1; Salvi Delta 28 String Electric indoor/outdoor Harp; I have my own state of the art JBL amplifier/speaker system for this instrument. My system is wireless and requires no outlet/electrical power. Perfect for outdoor destinations such as on a beach. Or I can plug into my state of the art portable BOSE sound system at a venue with electricity. Or I can easily plug into the venues sound system.
This Harp is very versatile, portable and is perfect for all occasions.

HARP # 2; Prelude 40 Lyon & Healy 40 string lever indoor Harp. This Harp is very beautiful.
I can amplify this harp with my state of the art BOSE portable sound system, which requires electricity at the venue. Or I can easily plug into the venues sound system.

I also have a microphone for your use upon request, at no additional charge.

I own/provide all my own wires, cords, extension cords, adapters, pick ups, pre -amp equipment, stool, music stand, loading & unloading.
