When you invite Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary’s mobile petting zoo to your event, you’re bringing a unique, hands-on farm experience directly to your guests. Our mobile petting zoo is designed to be fun, educational, and memorable for children and adults alike.

A Friendly Farm Experience
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of gentle farm animals that are accustomed to people and enjoy attention. Depending on the event, animals may include goats, mini horse, rabbits, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, geese, and other small farm animals as well as seasonal baby animals. Our animals are carefully selected to ensure they are calm, friendly, and comfortable around people.

Interactive Animal Encounters
Guests are encouraged to pet, brush, and interact with the animals while learning fun facts about them. Our team is always present to guide interactions and ensure both guests and animals have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Educational and Fun
We love sharing information about each animal and their personalities, care needs, and rescue stories when appropriate. Children especially enjoy learning where animals come from, what they eat, how they live and their role on a farm.

Professional Setup and Care
Our team arrives ahead of the scheduled start time to set up the petting zoo area. We bring everything needed for the animals including fencing, hand sanitizer, and animal feed. The safety and comfort of both the animals and your guests are always our top priority.

Clean and Safe Environment
We maintain a clean and organized space throughout the event and supervise all interactions to ensure everyone has a positive experience. Hand sanitizer is provided and is an absolute must.

Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a registered nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary. Every booking helps support the rescued animals that call our sanctuary home and helps us continue providing care, shelter, and educational outreach within the community.

Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary, Inc. was founded with a simple mission: to give animals a safe place to land and a second chance at life. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary, Sunshine Acres provides refuge for animals of many kinds while also educating the community about compassion, responsible animal care, and the value of rescue.

What began as a passion for helping animals in need has grown into a sanctuary where rescued animals can live safely while also becoming ambassadors of kindness for the community. Many of the animals guests meet through our mobile petting zoo were once in need of a second chance themselves.

Through our mobile petting zoo program, Sunshine Acres brings a small piece of the sanctuary directly to families, schools, churches, festivals, and community events. Our animals are gentle, well cared for, and accustomed to people, making them wonderful companions for hands-on learning and interaction.

We believe animals have a special ability to bring people together, spark curiosity, and create meaningful experiences for children and adults alike. Our goal is not only to provide a fun and memorable event, but also to share the message that every animal deserves kindness, care, and respect.

### Notes & Technical Requirements

To ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for both our guests and our animals, please review the following guidelines when booking the Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary Mobile Petting Zoo.

Water Access
Our setup must be located near a water source, or water must be provided by the host. Access to water is necessary to ensure the animals remain properly hydrated throughout the event.

Parking & Setup Access
Our vehicle must be able to park no more than 25 feet from the setup area. This allows us to safely and efficiently transport the animals, equipment, and supplies to and from the petting zoo area.

Weather Considerations
Because the safety and comfort of our animals is our top priority, we strongly recommend scheduling a backup date in case of inclement weather.

If rain or severe weather is expected, you are welcome to host the petting zoo under a covered area such as:
- A pavilion
- Covered porch
- Gymnasium
- Event hall
- Canopy tent
- Garage

Summer Heat Requirements
During the summer months, if temperatures exceed 95°F, the petting zoo must be set up in a heavily shaded area or under a covered structure to ensure the health and well-being of the animals.

Child Supervision
Parents or guardians are required to supervise their children at all times while interacting with the animals.

Corral Capacity
For the safety and comfort of both guests and animals, Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary reserves the right to limit the number of children inside the corral at one time. Our team will manage entry and ensure safe interactions during the event.
