Summit Bar Services provides the bartending expertise and planning support, while alcohol and event-specific consumables are generally supplied by the client unless shopping assistance is selected. To provide safe and efficient beverage service, Summit Bar Services requires a stable, adequately lit bar area with enough room for the bartender, beverages, ice, and necessary equipment. An existing bar or sturdy service table may be provided by the client or venue. A portable bar may also be available through Summit Bar Services for an additional charge.

The client or venue must provide:

* Access to the service area with sufficient time for setup and breakdown
* A safe, level, and adequately lit bar location
* An accessible handwashing sink or approved portable handwashing station
* Potable water and an approved location for wastewater disposal
* Restroom access for bartending staff
* Adequate ice, refrigeration, or cooler storage for beverages and ingredients
* Trash and recycling containers with an approved disposal location
* Electricity when required by the selected equipment or bar arrangement
* Reasonable loading access or nearby parking for unloading supplies and equipment
* Venue approval and any permits required for alcohol service

Outdoor bar areas should be protected from severe weather, direct sunlight, and unsafe ground conditions. Sound equipment and a performance stage are not required.
