About

In late 2016, Lead vocalist Ben Warren and Drummer Caleb Russell met each other through a mutual connection. Upon finding out that they both shared the common interest of music, they got together a couple times just to jam and ended up hitting it off. The idea of starting a band came into play shortly after, and Bryn MacDuffee, lead guitarist and long time friend of Caleb, was added to the group. They then began playing local venues under the moniker "Paperback Society", and began writing and performing a lot of their own original music. As they began to build a small, local fan base, they adopted bassist Ron Steeves, and eventually their current name "SubZero Paradise". Eventually Ron ended up leaving the group, and Adam Hunt was adopted as the bands new bassist. They now play shows from the Kingston area to the GTA, and have a small nationwide social media following. Their debut EP is due to drop in September on all digital media platforms.
