Gabriel Felsberg SSG
Overview
We don't start with a band. We start with the event.
Every event gets its own band. We assemble the musicians specifically for your event, choosing the right lineup, instrumentation, and repertoire to match the experience you want to create.
Whether it's an intimate acoustic duo for cocktails or a full band that keeps the dance floor full, every performance is designed around your event — not the other way around.
From weddings and corporate events to private celebrations across the GTA, we combine thoughtful planning with the flexibility to respond naturally throughout the evening, so the music always fits the moment.

November 28, 2024Wow! What a voice!
Gabriel's band was great! Victoria has an amazing voice and they performed beautifully. Saul and Gabriel are both very talented and Gabriel took extra care in selecting songs that would be perfect for my boyfriend's birthday party. Everyone was raving about my choice in band. Highly recommend Gabriel Felsberg Band!

How We Work
Before you book — You don't need to know whether you need a duo, trio, or full band. That's our job. We start by understanding your event, then recommend the lineup that fits the room, the audience, and the atmosphere you're trying to create.
While we plan — You'll always know where things stand. We coordinate the music, production, and logistics with you — and, when needed, with your planner or venue — so there are no last-minute surprises.
During the event — Once the music starts, you should be enjoying your guests, not managing your entertainment. We handle the setup, read the room, adapt naturally as the evening unfolds, and keep everything moving smoothly.
Our goal is simple: make sure the music always fits the moment, so you can stay present with your guests.
Your job is to enjoy the celebration. Ours is to make sure you never have to think about the music.
About
We don't start with a band. We start with the event.
Every celebration has its own musical identity. Every event gets its own band, assembled specifically for the atmosphere, audience, and flow of the occasion — whether that's an intimate acoustic duo for a cocktail hour or a full band built to keep the dance floor moving all night.
Every performance begins with thoughtful planning and continues with careful attention to the room, allowing the music to evolve naturally throughout the evening. Guests notice the result, not the process.
Clients also rely on Gabriel's production experience — AV coordination, bilingual hosting (English/Portuguese), and close collaboration with planners and venues across the GTA — so you can simply enjoy the celebration.

Technical & Production
You shouldn't have to worry about the technical side of your event.
Every venue is different. Some already have professional sound systems and technicians on-site. Others require a complete production setup. Our role is to evaluate your venue, recommend the right production setup, and coordinate every technical detail before the first note is played.
If your venue already has audio equipment — We'll work directly with your venue or audio technician to confirm compatibility, coordinate the setup, and ensure everything is ready for a smooth performance.
If your venue doesn't provide production — We'll arrange the complete technical setup for your event — from compact PA systems for intimate gatherings to full production for larger performances. When required, we can also coordinate professional audio technicians, stage lighting, stage platforms, wireless microphones, and additional production equipment.
Every event has different technical requirements. We'll recommend the production setup that best fits your venue, guest count, and the experience you're creating. Rather than asking you to determine what's needed, we'll recommend the right production package based on your event.
Your job is to enjoy the celebration.
Ours is to make sure you never have to think about the music — production, sound, lighting, all of it.

Set list
We've built our repertoire around one simple idea: great songs never go out of style.
From Motown, soul, jazz standards, and bossa nova to classic rock, disco, pop, funk, and contemporary hits, we choose music based on the atmosphere we're creating—not on a fixed playlist.
Whether your event calls for elegant background music, a singalong that brings everyone together, or a packed dance floor, we'll build the soundtrack around your guests and the flow of the evening.
Our repertoire spans more than 100+ carefully selected songs from the 1960s through today, including music by artists such as:
The Beatles • Stevie Wonder • Frank Sinatra • Tom Jobim • Earth, Wind & Fire • ABBA • Fleetwood Mac • Sade • George Michael • Michael Jackson • Whitney Houston • Adele • Bruno Mars • Amy Winehouse • Beyoncé
…and many more.
If there's a song that's meaningful to you, let us know. Whenever possible, we're happy to incorporate special requests into your event.
Influences and inspiration
Who are your influences? What past or present acts have influenced you or your group?
I've never been drawn to a particular genre. I've always been drawn to songs that stay with people.
Whether it's The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jobim, Frank Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac, Sade, Adele, or Bruno Mars, what connects them for me isn't their style — it's their ability to tell stories through music. Their songs create emotion and bring people together. That's always been the music I wanted to play.
When it came time to build a band, I realized I didn't want to be the frontman. I wanted to build the sound around a great female vocalist while I focused on guitar, musical direction, and backing vocals. Artists like Marie Fredriksson, Ann Wilson, Aretha Franklin, and Adele showed me just how powerful that combination could be. That decision still shapes how I build every band for every event today.
That's why one evening might move naturally from Fly Me to the Moon and The Girl from Ipanema to Faith, September, and Get Lucky. They're not chosen because they belong to the same genre. They're chosen because each one has a role to play in the story of the evening.
We don't build our shows around a fixed style. We build them around the story your event is telling.
