December 13, 2016When 5 to 10 on Hennepin began in downtown Minneapolis, we created an open call to bring artists from around the state to participate as street performers up and down Hennepin Avenue. When we received Star's application, we were blown away by her creativity and professionalism.
Star Walker was an incredible addition to our programming every evening she participated! She was so friendly with everyone on the street, danced to the music on stage and even posed for pictures! We would definitely hire her again (and we have-multiple times!).

September 7, 2016When we came up with the concept of hiring a stilt walker for our trade show, we were just expecting someone to walk around and pose for pictures. Instead with Star, we got an incredibly engaging, charming and fun professional who put a smile on every attendee's face. She made sure that everyone was involved, struck beautiful, fun and sometimes unbelievable poses for the hundreds of photos taken that morning. She was the hit of the show, and people still continue to comment on what a unique and memorable time that had with her.
In prep for the event she clarified our expectations, our message and our culture so that all our goals were not only met, but exceeded in ways we didn't expect.
In hiring Star, we got much more than entertainment, we had the honor to work with a professional who made sure that our attendees were engaged, received the message being conveyed AND were highly entertained. I have never seen so many smiles at a trade show at one time!

Star Walker has been entertaining crowds for over ten years. Starting with the stage in her teens, she was mostly intriqued by the thrill of adreneline that the art of improv brought. Soon after, she discovered the beauty and danger in fire dancing. Her love of fire led to cirus arts where she now combines her passion for performing for crowds with her love of death defying feats of fancy and humor.
You may see Star roaming the crowds, playing with large fire prop, twirling from aerial silks, swinging from a trapeze, or peeling off layers in a burlesque fashion - all on stilts of course. She also loves acrobatic stilt walking and stilt dance.
Whatever your event, Star is sure to dazzle your guests and keep them enchanted for a lifetime.
Aerial shows may require a pre-event rigging inspection to ensure proper space and rigging access for performance.
All fire shows require venue permission and permits. Extra planning time may be required in ordered to obtain a permit.
