Strings is a premier band founded in 1996 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, blending Spanish classical guitar with Afro-Caribbean rhythms to create a unique sound called Flamenco Tropical. Perfect for weddings, their music sets a sophisticated, vibrant atmosphere for both ceremonies and receptions.
With intricate melodies and dynamic rhythms, Strings offers a captivating musical experience that appeals to all guests. Adding fresh energy, Jiggy Jack, the son of co-founder Jacky Ambroise, joined as rhythm guitarist and vocalist in 2016. Strings is the ideal choice for an unforgettable wedding day.

We play a blend of Island Caribbean rhythm and Spanish classical guitars. Heavily influenced by flamenco guitar players such as Paco de Lucia and the traditional Haitian troubadours such as Rodrigue Milien and Toto Necesite.
