You can expect your guests to be impressed by the way that the Steel Drum changes the vibe of whatever room or space that it's in without distracting from conversation. The Steel Drum is a novelty addition to your event that will leave your guests talking about it for weeks after (I know because I've heard this from event planners too many times to count). They will be in good hands with someone who is a musician as a full time living. You can be sure that I will be professional, dressed appropriately and on time. In addition to Steel Drum services I offer DJ/MC services and often I am a one stop shop for the cocktail hour and reception of weddings for this reason. The Steel Pan is a breath of fresh air and it is a unique addition to entertainment at any event or DJ set as DJs are becoming more and more ubiquitous. I am a Steel Drum performer and DJ based out of Miami, Florida and Fort Lauderdale. I am currently the Resident Musician and DJ at Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale. I have roots in St. Kitts in the Caribbean and grew up in a family of island musicians (23 Years of Experience in Professional Settings).
I offer combined packages including a trio of skill sets as a DJ, Steel Drum Performer and MC for events such as weddings, corporate functions, private parties and more! For my set up I only need a couple of small considerations:

-I will need access to power (generally a couple 3 Prong outlets will suffice)
(I do have battery powered equipment beach parties and wedding ceremonies!)
-I will need cover that will block from the sun and the elements for both my gear and my steel pan as direct sunlight and rain can damage/detune the instrument
-I can provide a grass green tent if need be, which will block from sun and a light drizzle but not from heavy rain. Please let me know in advance if you would like me to provide this!
-I am able to provide a full PA system with subwoofers mics and anything that is needed sonically for your event. Additionally, I can provide battery powered speakers which are perfect for beach weddings and parties that don't have access to power. Being as specific as possible with your needs, the space and the amount of people will help me to determine the necessary equipment for each aspect of your event
