What to expect

Clients can expect a professional, prepared, and detail oriented audio engineer focused on delivering clear, reliable sound throughout their event. From initial setup to final breakdown, I prioritize smooth execution, efficient communication, and high quality audio tailored to the venue and audience.

I handle system setup, sound checks, and live audio operation with a strong understanding of signal flow, gain structure, and acoustics. Whether supporting DJs, live performers, speakers, or ceremonies, I stay attentive during the event to make real time adjustments, prevent feedback, and resolve technical issues quickly and discreetly.

I arrive on time, work efficiently during load in, and maintain a calm, professional presence in fast-paced or high pressure environments. I collaborate closely with event planners, performers, DJs, and other crew members to ensure timing, transitions, and overall production flow stay on track.

Clients can also expect flexibility. I am comfortable adapting to different venues, equipment setups, and event formats, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and live performances. My goal is to make the audio side of the event seamless, so clients can focus on the experience rather than the technical details.

About

Asher Mock is a professional audio engineer and live event technician based in Pittsburgh, PA, with over eight years of hands on experience in live sound, studio engineering, and event production. He specializes in delivering clean, reliable audio for weddings, corporate events, concerts, and private functions, ensuring smooth execution from load in to teardown.

Asher has worked extensively in fast paced live environments, supporting DJs, performers, and production teams with PA setup, wireless microphone systems, mixers, signal routing, and real time troubleshooting. His experience includes weddings and gala style corporate events, where timing, communication, and attention to detail are critical. He is comfortable adapting to different venues, equipment inventories, and event formats while maintaining professional sound quality throughout.

In addition to live production, Asher has a formal background in audio engineering and music production, giving him a strong understanding of signal flow, gain structure, acoustics, and equipment care. This technical foundation allows him to anticipate issues before they arise and respond quickly when adjustments are needed during live events.

Known for his reliability, calm demeanor, and collaborative approach, Asher works closely with clients, DJs, performers, and event staff to ensure every event runs smoothly and sounds great. He is physically capable of demanding production work and committed to maintaining a professional presence at every stage of an event.

Additional booking notes

I can work with either in house venue systems or client provided production equipment. For events requiring audio support, I need adequate access to power, reasonable load in time, and space for speaker placement and equipment setup as required by the event.

When providing live audio operation, I work with standard PA systems, mixers (digital or analog), wired and wireless microphones, and playback sources. If live performers or speakers are involved, a sound check prior to the event is preferred to ensure proper levels, clarity, and feedback control.

If the venue has an existing sound system, advance details such as a basic stage plot, input list, or equipment inventory are helpful but not required. I am comfortable adapting to different room sizes, acoustics, and system configurations.

Clear communication in advance regarding event schedule, performance needs, and access times helps ensure a smooth setup and successful event. I am flexible and able to coordinate directly with venues, DJs, performers, or other technicians as needed.
