Entertainment for all of your needs! SFP began as a venture to bring books to life via stage plays made for the 0-12yr old age group. We have evolved and now provide entertainment options for families and audiences of all ages.
Plays
Our plays are super popular in local libraries, preschools, and kids clubs. Whenever possible, projects are based off of books and translated into highly interactive stage plays.
Senior Performances
Jen loves performing her singing shows all around SoCal for senior audiences. Themed shows include Standard Broadway Hits, Contemporary Broadway Hits, Top Hits from the 40s-70s, and more!
Holidays
Fun shows, including Mrs. Claus, for Hanukkah, Christmas, and all.

September 11, 2023We had Jen at our library as a special storyteller this past Summer and it was so amazing to watch her tell the story of the animals who seek refuge in the little house in the forest. Jen captivated both the little and big members of our audience and the story was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The booking process was easy and efficient and Jen was timely and attentive to our needs. If possible, we would definitely host her again in the future!

September 6, 2023Ms. Jennifer was a delightful performer. She expertly entertained a large group of wiggly toddlers and their older siblings during our library Storytime program. Her performance was a lovely retelling of a gentle story with homemade props and stuffed animal characters. I loved how she spent a few minutes explaining to the children how she created her props, and how they can use recyclable materials (and their imaginations) to create their own storytelling backdrops. The story was highly interactive, the children were clearly engaged, and she ended the show with a bubble/dance party. She is the perfect performer for the PreK and under crowd!

Hello! I offer a wide range of services under the Storybook Family Playhouse umbrella, ergo, what you can expect will differ based on the program hired. That said, what does not change program to program is the smiles, the energy, and the professionalism. I come fully prepared, early with time to set up, and unless I have an immediate booking after, I even stay after to socialize with your guests. I come from an event management background, so even though I am a performer, I am always thinking about what is happening around me at the same time. I always bring my big energy with me to every performance.
ABOUT JEN:
A professional performer with a degree in acting and a degree in voice/opera, she has performed internationally, nationally, and in NYC/LA. Stage performances include several NYC productions, the international tour of "The Sound of Music", the national tour of "Laura Ingalls Wilder" as Laura, Disney Cruise Line (Ann Marie in "Disney Dreams", Andy in "Toy Story the Musical"), theme parks including Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Legoland, and more. Opera roles include Cendrillon in "Cendrillon" and Adele in "Die Fledermaus". She has also appeared in dozens of commercials, films, and several television shows.
For performances, usually a standard library set up, or an 8x10 area, is all that is needed. Flat, ideally not in direct sunlight when possible. We do not provide chairs, so ideally, we are in a grassy area, indoors, on pavement in the shade, or mats are provided for the children. Floor covering can be provided for smaller groups with less than 15 kids.
