Hello! My name is Stevie and I'm an agender musician from Austin, TX. I'm eager to lend my music to help couples of all backgrounds to create the most magical and unique day of their lives. My work as a ballet accompanist has me learning new music constantly, so I'm able to accommodate any special requests/particular song choices. I can blend my music seamlessly into the background to create a bright warm atmosphere, or I can turn up the volume and lead the crowd in a jaunty sing-along. Let's connect and create the perfect set list for your wedding!

March 12, 2026Agreeable, polished, and driven
Stevie brought just the right vibe to our wedding. Everything sounded great, the live music set a romantic and reverent tone as people arrived for the ceremony and they brought a playful, joyous mood to the reception. They exceeded expectations by helping others who were responsible for sound setup, ensuring that everything went smoothly.

February 5, 2026Your New Favorite Pianist
I just looked up "consistency" and "preparedness" in the dictionary, and was surprised not to see Stevie's picture next to either definition.
Stevie is an absolute joy to work with, and is the epitome of professionalism. I've worked with Stevie in a few different contexts now, and have never been less worried about a fellow musician showing up on time, sober, and ready to work. There is an ease to our sessions, whether they be song writing, performing, recording, or filming. I never worry about whether criticism will be taken personally, whether anyone else will have a personality clash, or whether the finished product will be anything less than what is expected. Nobody's perfect, but Stevie is pretty damn close.

What to expect
I have a vast repertoire of music that I can perform on piano--from classical to contemporary, from pop rock to soft jazz, as well as music from movies and video games. I have plenty of experience adapting my playing style, whether I'm helping shine a spotlight on a bridal entrance or providing a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby of a corporate event. I'm happy to hop on a video or phone call before the event to discuss details such as song choice and any necessary musical cues. If there is no piano provided, I'm happy to bring my own, as long as there's a power outlet for me to plug into.
About
Stevie Sparks is an agender musician from Austin TX specializing in live performance and session work on piano and flute. They began learning piano as a child, then went on to perform flute with the Cedar Park High School marching band at competitions throughout the United States. At Knox College they were a member and saxophone section leader of the Knox Jazz Ensemble, helping to raise funds for a cultural musical exchange trip to China in their final year.
After returning to Austin with a B.A. in Music, Stevie now works as a ballet accompanist for local studios such as Ballet Austin and Austin Community College. Outside of work, they perform with local bands Sheilava and Oh Antonio & His Imaginary Friends, and also as a solo artist under the name SymphonicElectric.
