NOW BOOKING.....Southern Rock band, "COY". CLASS "A" Music group . Coy has played Country and Southern Rock for years with a traveling group, and had the pleasure of being the opening act for artists such as, Charlie Daniels, Dan Seals, George Jones, Ty Herndon, Brian White and more. He left Nashville in 2000, and moved to Florida. With one of the Souths Best Lead Guitarist, David Robey, who has played with Walter Trout, and Joe Bonommosa and premier Bassist, Mickey G. who has played with Bett Midler. I promise you won't be disappointed.

You will receive a Class A performance from this group. We have all played at the highest level, and continue to do so. We are prompt, and easy to get along with. We love playing out at Festivals, and Concerts, and large Entertainment establishments. We have a professional sound man so that we can give the best possible performance.
I was a guitarist and Lead Singer for a traveling Country, Southern Rock Band for many years. We were very fortunate to work with some of the best artists in the business. I signed a recording contract in 1998 and had an album recorded and a video shot, and it all fell through so fast i still don't know what happened. After spending years opening for many Major Country Music Stars, I left Nashville, and came back to Florida, to take care of my Mother.
I now have an incredible Southern Rock Group named, "Coy", and we are excited about playing and having a good time entertaining.

Based on Style of music desired
As a child I was sent to classical guitar instruction, but that lasted about 2 weeks, as I told my mother I wanted to play like Johnny Cash. I grew up on old county music, and gospel hymns. I was influenced by many, but none more than my Mother, who taught me how to play and sing.
I love Contemporary Christian Music, I love Third Day, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, too many to mention.
As for my Country roots, and influences, I liked all the old guys, like Jones, and Haggard. I loved Rock music growing up as well, with, "Rush" and "Bad Company". "Boston". Southern Rock has always been my love. You name the group, I know them and love them.
