Overview

Professional bass player available for live gig fill-ins, touring support, and studio recording sessions. With decades of performance experience, I specialize in quickly learning material and locking in with the groove so bands sound tight and confident.

Artists and bandleaders book me because I’m prepared, reliable, and easy to work with. Whether it’s rock, pop, worship, jazz, blues, or singer-songwriter, my focus is serving the song and supporting the band.

If you need a dependable bassist who can read charts and transcription, and step in seamlessly and deliver a solid groove, I’m ready to help make your performance or recording a success.

What to expect

As an experienced bass player in a variety of settings, I know the most important thing is to show up prepared. However, it’s also a benefit to fit into the setting visually and engage the audience at an appropriate level. With my previous experience, you can feel comfortable and confident that if you hire me, I’ll deliver to your expectations.

About

I started playing music early in life. I was influenced by my father and grandfather to learn the bass guitar. We played as the “Three Generations” at the local mall playing bluegrass and country music. In high school I was in the jazz band and won best bass player at the district jazz band competition. I went on to play in several cover bands, original bands, and wedding bands over the years. I’ve played at church for decades and enjoy playing on the weekends with various bands and friends. If I can support your project, it would be the thrill of my day!
