I fill any size venue with the sounds of the guitar, embracing a wide variety of playing styles and musical genres, taking genuine pride in my tone and sound, and herein sharing a passion for this superb art through performing pieces from Bach to blues. I am classically trained, but I have also always played by ear, which very often leads to improvising over tune forms and charts, something which past audiences and clients have very much enjoyed.

I am excited to be playing again at the Ritz Carlton on Sherbrooke (Montreal QC)! The last time I performed there, it was soon after playing at the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion, a lovely glass atrium connected to Musée des beaux-arts Montréal (a huge art museum in Montreal).

I perform classical and fingerstyle guitar music, written by composers from Europe, both of the America's, in a variety of genres (classical, Latin American, bossa nova, popular, jazz standards, and others). For corporate events, cocktails / receptions, I take pride in creating a musical ambience suitable for the occasion. Specifically for weddings, choose the pieces for each part of your ceremony: Prelude(s), Processional, Signing of the Register & Recessional. I have in the past arranged many melodies for solo guitar and I am glad to do so at your request, so feel free to mention your ideas, musical tastes and your favorites!

P.A. equipment use is included, which is suitable for any venue/event size. The amplification system maintains superbly the tone of Stephen's guitar.
