May 26, 2014Starbird ROCKS!!! Love the guy! Cover Band, great music and very entertaining. He can sing anything and takes in requests. We could always rely on Martin to draw a crowd. He engaged his audience and each week the clientele grew. He brought in customers and helped increase revenue. We would definitely use him for a variety of events. The sky is the limit. This is one talented one man band!

A wide variety of songs/styles from 60s onwards. My real time vocal harmonizer allows me to perform as if I had backing singers with me. Always surprises audiences on choruses and especially the many layered and harmonized voices on Bohemian Rhapsody.
I am happy to tailor from my repertoire to suit the venue - quiet and mellow for coffee shops/restaurants, noisy for bars, romantic for weddings or a mix for parties. All the arrangements are customized or built by me, especially the drum work. Many arrangements I built from scratch.

Setup takes 30-45 mins including sound check. I can break it down in 15 mins.

I use full background arrangements that I have created myself or purchased with performance rights and customized for bass, drums and keyboards. I play electric guitar and sing. I also use layered vocals that allow me to sound like several singers in harmony.
I focus on parties, events, coffee shops, restaurants, wineries, weddings and small clubs.
Over the last year I have played 18 three hour sets at Black Angus Restaurants in Northridge and Burbank. Previously, I played three nights per week for four hours in a popular restaurant for several years.
