The audience should walk away with a new look on life. They should be able to see themselves as stronger and in more control. They will see life from a different perspective and with more options.

I am a retired disabled Veteran from the Army. When I returned to service after 25 years of being out of the Air Force; I was the Amy’s oldest Private at age 46. I have 3 sons who also served alongside of me. Prior to coming back into the military, I worked with my wife as a 7 time Certified Family Teacher at National Girls and Boys Town, where we raised over 50 at risk boys ages 8 to 19. After leaving Boys Town, my wife Beverly and I moved to Springfield MO. where I worked as a Case Manager and Motivational Speaker with OACAC (Ozark Area Community Action Corp.). I have been a mentor with the local Boys and Girls Club and enjoy helping Youth whenever possible. My wife and I have just completed training to be Foster and Adoptive Parents.
My strengths are the ability to connect with kids and to explain things in a way they will understand and recognize to be truth. Having come from a dysfunctional home where I was physically and mentally abused, I understand the hardships a lot of young people deal with. I also understand their need to be heard and their need to find strength within themselves to overcome.
The topics of Empowerment, Problem Solving, Anger Management, and Diversity, will provide a fundamental foundation on which to build on going forward in the lives of any youth.

I do have a Service Dog I bring with me and is at my side.
