Spellfire Productions started when two creative worlds collided in Bend, Oregon. Taylor, a trained dancer from Illinois, and Lucy, a theatre school graduate from Chicago, crossed paths in Central Oregon and instantly knew they had to create something together. What started with a few local gigs quickly grew into a full performance company rooted in artistry, intention, and a whole lot of fire.
We're not just fire performers, we're skilled dancers. Every performance is choreographed with real technique and stage presence, and that's what sets us apart. Our backgrounds in dance and theatre mean we bring a level of artistry and storytelling to every show that goes way beyond spinning a fire prop.
We're wellness focused, community driven, and honestly just obsessed with creating magic in any way possible and sharing it with the world. Every gig is tailored to your event. We work with you to match our costumes, music, energy, and performance style to your vision. Elegant wedding reception? We've got you. High energy festival? Absolutely. Intimate backyard party that your friends will talk about for years? That's one of our favorites!
We offer choreographed fire dancing, LED performances, and ambient fire art. Safety is always our top priority and we carry full liability insurance and take precautions at every event so you don't have to worry and just enjoy the show.

We're self-sufficient and come prepared with everything we need to perform, but here are a few things to keep in mind when booking us:
For fire performances, we need a minimum clearance of 15 feet overhead and a safe perimeter around the performance area free of flammable materials, low-hanging decorations, and loose fabrics. We always bring our own safety equipment including fire extinguishers, safety blankets, and a dedicated safety spotter.
For LED performances, we're much more flexible on space and can perform indoors or outdoors. LED is a great option for venues where open flame isn't permitted.
We bring our own props, fuel, safety gear, and costumes. If you have a sound system we can plug into, great. If not, we can bring our own portable speaker setup for smaller events.
A flat, non-slippery surface is ideal for performance. Grass, concrete, pavement, and stage flooring all work well, but we can also perform on gravel, dirt and other natural landscapes as long as there is nothing flammable close by (bushes, trees, etc).
We carry full liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance for your venue upon request. We're also happy to coordinate directly with your venue or event planner to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Our taste in music is a variety of genres such as EDM, tribal, classical, and so much more. A few artists from our setlist consists of Lindsey Sterling, Mija, Morillo, Dimond Saints, Kiesza, Rufus du sol, and kreature, who we performed for him this year at the Volcanic Theatre, it was amazing! Of course, we are open to tailoring our music to fit your vibe!
Honestly, our biggest influence is each other. Taylor's background in dance and costume creating, Lucy's years of fire performance, theatre training, costume creating, and event planning, as well as the other girls with their dance experience, naturally blend together into something that's entirely our own. We pull inspiration from movement, music, nature, and the energy of live performance itself. We're not trying to replicate anyone else's style. What you see from Spellfire is authentically us.
