Bollywood/Bellydance/Romani Dance Show

Expect a colorful, elegant and entertaining show customized for your event!

Nalini offers solo performances as well as group shows with Blue Lotus Dance Company. Depending on your event, performances may include Bellydance, Bollywood, Indian Kathak/Mujra, European Romani-style dance, or a combination of styles.

Bellydance and fusion shows can feature beautiful theatrical props such as veil, silk fans, sword, candelabra, wings, and cane.

Shows can range from an elegant performance during dinner to an energetic celebration that gets guests involved. Music, costumes, props and show length can be tailored to your event, venue and audience.

Nalini is a professional dancer, choreographer and instructor with more than 35 years of dance experience. Her performance repertoire includes Bellydance, Bollywood and Indian dance, as well as colorful European Romani-style dance.

Her dance journey began in Ukraine and continued with professional training in Moscow and India. She studied Indian classical Kathak through the Indian Embassy in Moscow and has trained and performed in a variety of Middle Eastern, Indian and Romani dance traditions.

Nalini is also the director of Blue Lotus Dance Company and has performed at festivals, cultural events, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Her specialty is creating visually exciting shows that combine beautiful costumes, expressive dance and theatrical props while adapting each performance to the occasion and audience.

Please provide a good-quality sound system that can play performance music from a phone or other digital device. For larger venues, a professional sound system is recommended.

Please let us know in advance about the performance area, ceiling height, floor surface and any space restrictions, particularly when booking a show with props.

Some specialty props may require additional space or venue approval. Candelabra performances are available only when appropriate and permitted by the venue.

A private and secure changing area is requested when possible.
