Talented, classical pianist with over 20 years of experience and a minor in Music: Piano Performance from Brigham Young University. Earned 10 consecutive Superior ratings at the Utah Federation of Music Clubs Solo Performance competitions.
Currently serving Rhode Island and the surrounding areas, I offer a wide repertoire from classical to pop and enjoy improvising and taking requests. I have experience providing background music for weddings, birthday parties, and cocktail hours, always adapting my playing to fit the mood of the event.
I’m happy to learn special songs in advance and work closely with you to make sure the music fits your vision perfectly.

Kara was early and has an attitude to accommodate what music was best suited for our event.
My father's 80th birthday couldn't of been any better, with the music she chose, put on the spot to play music for the first time and play child hood songs we grew up hearing.
She made the afternoon lovely, light and had so many compliments from other family and friends about her presence and music experience.
I will be referring and scheduling with her again in the near future.

She made our wedding reception so special. The mood was perfect and she was so wonderful to work with. She had an extensive playlist and is very versatile. She was so talented and professional. I highly recommend her!

About
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Kara began piano lessons at age 5, she studied with several classically trained pianists but the majority of her study was under Patricia Graham. She competed in The Utah Federation of Music clubs yearly, earning 10 consecutive superior marks in the solo performance category. She also spent 2 hours weekly for 4 years as a volunteer pianist at Primary Children's Medical Hospital. Which, to this day remains her favorite performance opportunity. Kara received a minor in music in 2024 and continues to love performing whenever possible. Kara is currently a student at the University of Rhode Island studying Physical Therapy and graduating in December of 2026. She loves being outside and especially enjoys hiking and running.
