Cannabis Sommelier Experience: A guided, educational tasting that introduces guests to cannabis pairing and consumption in a sophisticated, approachable way, ideal for adult events looking for something unique.

Metaphysical & Esoteric Talks: An engaging, conversational talk on topics like tarot, energy work, and personal growth, great for panels, retreats, or corporate wellness programming.

Every booking is customized to fit your event’s size, audience, and vibe. Maggie brings professionalism, warmth, and genuine expertise to every interaction, ensuring your guests leave with a memorable, elevated experience they’ll be talking about long after the event ends.

Maggie May is a Los Angeles-based creator, author, and speaker with over 15 years of experience as a Reiki Master Teacher, alongside her work as a certified cannabis sommelier and skilled Tarot reader. Her path into the metaphysical world began with a deep personal practice that eventually grew into a full-time career, blending energy work, plant medicine, and esoteric wisdom into experiences that help people slow down and reconnect.

Maggie is the creator of the Metaphysical Cannabis Oracle Deck, published by Hachette Book Group and named an ELLE Top 10 Best Oracle Decks of all time, and is the author of three books with Hachette/Union Square & Co., with a fourth currently in development. She has hosted the podcast “Metaphysical with Maggie May” since 2018 and writes a popular Substack, building a devoted community around wellness, self-discovery, and conscious living.

As a speaker and practitioner, Maggie brings warmth, expertise, and genuine presence to every event, whether she’s guiding a Tarot reading, leading a Reiki session, walking guests through a cannabis tasting, or speaking on metaphysical topics. Her goal is always the same: to leave people feeling a little more grounded, curious, and connected than when they arrived.

General Setup:

•A quiet, semi-private area for one-on-one Tarot readings or Reiki sessions (a small table and two chairs, or a massage table/treatment chair for Reiki)
•Access to a standard electrical outlet if using diffusers, sound machines, or ambient lighting
•Soft, warm lighting preferred over harsh overhead fluorescent lighting when possible

Tarot Readings:

•Small table with two chairs, ideally tucked away from high foot-traffic areas for privacy
•I bring my own deck, cloth, and any props needed

Reiki Sessions:

•A massage table ( please advise in advance) or a comfortable reclining chair
•Space for guests to lie or sit comfortably with minimal noise/distraction
•Optional: a speaker for soft background music (I can also provide my own portable speaker)

Cannabis Sommelier Tasting:
•A table for product display and setup
•Proper compliance with local/state cannabis laws is the client’s responsibility to confirm before booking
•Well-ventilated space if consumption is part of the experience

Speaking/Talks:

•Microphone (handheld or lav) for groups larger than ~20 people
•Projector/screen if a slide deck is part of the talk (can confirm in advance if needed)
•Seating arranged so the audience can see and hear clearly
