I am friendly, approachable, and bring enthusiasm to each presentation. I use media, graphics, illustrations, and humor to make biblical truths understandable and relevant.

To facilitate learning and promote follow-up study, I provide study notes and links to downloadable e-books, research documents and video teachings. I also can be available for Q & A sessions following teaching times.

My name is Gary Ray and I am writing to make you aware of my availability to provide pulpit supply, revival leadership, or workshop presentations in support of your ministry. I have a heart for the church, for outreach, and teaching on Bible Prophecy.

In addition to providing teaching/speaking support, I would be happy to make available four e-books and two Bible Studies as free downloads. These include: A devotional book, a book on Bible Prophecy, a book on Discipleship, a presentation of the Gospels in chronological order with pastoral commentary, an 8-week study on the Churches in Revelation, and a 10-week study on the Life of Jesus. My desire is to bless, encourage, and challenge the body of Christ.

A little about me: I am 56 years young, happily married (35 years), I have two grown children (both of whom have been active in ministry) and three grandchildren. I have served in full-time ministry (Baptist or evangelical community churches) for more than 30 years. Recently I have been providing interim pastor work, and serving as a team leader/content writer for a new online ministry designed to reach the lost and provide discipleship resources for those who desire to grow in Christ.

I understand how important it is for you to guard your ministry, and ensure that those who speak and teach at your church share your commitment to biblical truth. I assure you my heart is pure. In an effort to address any theological concerns you may have, I am happy to provide links to some of my writings and teachings. There is nothing unusual—my speaking style is informative, scholarly but casual. My theological positions are conservative but not fundamental. I respect staff and have a heart to support the ministry of the local church.

I believe I am gifted in the areas of writing, teaching, preaching and evangelism. I enjoy using these gifts to support the Kingdom’s work. Over the years I have developed a number of short presentations (teaching messages and writings) designed to inspire, exhort, and equip the body of Christ. It would be a privilege to speak with you about how I could provide short-term support to your ministry (lead a workshop or revival, provide pulpit supply, etc.).

Presentation needs include: A lapel microphone, a podium (large enough for a 15" laptop computer), a USB cord (male connection) that will connect the podium area laptop to the meeting room audio and video sources, and a table for hand-out materials.
