Dr. Tracy R. Powell is a native of Lamar, South Carolina, she received her education from the University of South Carolina where she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy, Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Sociology. Additionally, Dr. Powell is a Certified Executive & Professional Coach, Award-winning Author and International Speaker.

Throughout her career, Dr. Powell has held various leadership and executive positions. In these roles, Dr. Powell faced and quickly recovered from racial discrimination, isolation, managing fear, balancing work and family and speaking with one voice. It was early in her career that Dr. Powell realized her challenges were dramatically different from her counterparts, although they were serving in the same positions and environments.

Dr. Powell’s experience and work has given her global visibility. She is an internationally known, award winning Author, Speaker and Executive Coach. For over a decade, Dr. Powell has empowered individuals and executives to overcome challenges and secure and maintain their executive positions without hesitation or fear.

As a Global Speaker, Dr. Powell speaks on numerous topics and adults and youth. Dr. Powell has conducted hundreds of speeches and trainings in her professional and coaching career, both domestic and international. Some of these topics include Leading through Diversity, Diversity is More Than Skin Deep, Knowing When to Transition, Stoping the Organizational B.L.E.E.D, and R.E.F.O.C.U.S, just to name a few.

Dr. Powell authored of two books Practical Leadership Lessons Learned from Mickey and her award winning book is The Journey to Authorship: A Pocket Guide for Writers, published a Leadership Journal, written peer-reviewed publications, several eBooks and has been interviewed by various television, radio and podcast hosts.

Requirement:

Walkthrough the day before or the morning of the speech, at least 4 hours in advance. Hands on with IT equipment, light adjustment etc.

Dedicated IT Support on hand throughout the speech to address technical issues.

Laptop provided or advance notice (72 hours), Dr. Tracy is required to bring her own.
