When you book Sparkle Motion Camberville, you're not just getting the joy and fun that beautiful face painting brings — you're also getting speed, organization, and safety. I make it easy for you to plan and book, meeting you where you to plan with you. I sweat the details so you don't have to.
We will work together to decide on the options that provide you the best value and "solve" for your event, from quick crowd-pleasers, to elaborate full-face art, to glitter tattoos. I use only cosmetic-grade, FDA-compliant, hypoallergenic paints that wash off easily with soap and water, and cosmetic glitter, biodegradable whenever possible. Everything used meets professional safety standards, and Sparkle Motion is fully insured, for everyones' peace of mind.
A week before your event, I check in to make sure nothing has changed and I have an updated point of contact. The day of the event, expect an enthusiastic professional to arrive at least 30 minutes early, ready to make your day truly memorable. And of course, expect a -lot- of joy, delight, magic, and sparkles (but of course, glitter is always optional!) ✨
Originally from Pittsburgh and based in the Camberville area for the past 20 years, Ashley is a creative designer / programmer by day who found face painting as the perfect hands-on creative outlet. The passion started early — as a teenager, Ashley would show up to babysitting jobs with a Klutz face paint kit - much to kids' delight and the parents' surprise! She has now been professionally painting for over a year.
These days Ashley loves working with with kids and adults at parties, festivals, and events across the area — though somehow her 8-year-old at home remains the one holdout who refuses to be a practice canvas. Ashley also enjoys playing synthesizers, gardening, and enjoying Camberville's urban nature with her family.
Sparkle Motion is fairly self contained, but if you can provide the table + 2 chairs, that tends to make things easier. I have backup equipment I am happy to bring upon request.
Sparkle Motion works rain or shine, so if this is an outdoor event, a tent or protected area should be provided.
My "set list" usually includes the following -
unicorns, butterflies, rainbows (of course), dogs and cats, tigers and cheetahs, snakes, sharks, turtles, flowers and crowns... I also do Minecraft, Pokemon, Hello Kitty, and a variety of other characters that tend to be favorites!
I find inspiration from the whole world, but as a recovering fine arts student in college, I try to take a more traditionally painterly approach whenever possible in the time allowed. My biggest inspiration is the smiling faces I get to paint!
