Overview
Hello! My name is Bijan Afshar, I’ve been playing guitar for 15+ years, and prior to the pandemic I used to perform consistently around my hometown, Palos Verdes. After graduating from UCLA in 2022, I have started performing again. I have a classical background but now I perform mainly Spanish-originated music, including flamenco and rumba, with some classic pop songs in between. Some songs are slow and romantic, others are fast and make people get up and dance! Certain pieces I play are considered highly advanced, so 2hr+ gigs may require an extra break to avoid cramps in my hands.
