Our band plays danceable, approachable music from the 70's to today.
Our musical genre is a mix of pop and classic rock from the 70’s to today. From Springsteen to Bruno Mars to Taylor Swift. We try to keep it really fun for the crowd and keep them dancing.
We have been playing clubs and festivals in S. Ontario since 2014 and between us there is more than 150 years of playing experience.

September 26, 2016These guys were awesome! They sound great both vocals and musical instruments, well put together. They make people want to get up and dance. They brought a crowd with them. They were recommended to us from another band. We had a very busy night here. People kept coming in and I was told that they were great. It was fun.

We play songs that the audience will know and likely fondly remember (if they're less current) but that you don't see a lot of bands cover. For example Running on Empty and Born to Run are two very musically challenging songs that many bands don't/can't attempt.
We also have current material that the younger crowd will identify with (Bruno Mars, Pink, etc.).
Southpawz is a 5-piece band based in the Greater Toronto Area and was formed in 2014.
We provide fun, entertaining and sometimes uniquely nostalgic music. Music influences include rock and roll, soul, R&B and even some popular music!
We have lights, PA etc. and can roll all of our own gear if needed.
Our normal footprint is 11 channels in a PA but we can work with 8 if needed.
Stage footprint is approximately 9 X 15
