Soulfreq audiences range from those who will enjoy listening to our 3 part harmonies, and the tightness of the band unit, to those who wanna get down to dancing till the band finishes its last note.
We work with the event vibe and situation and play appropriately. Loudness is not a problem with SoulfreQ. Thru our collective experience working at events, our volume levels will not be a problem.

SoulfreQ is a small group (4 piece- expandable if required) of experienced professional Musicians perfect for any types of events (Weddings, Corporate, Parties)and restaurants.
Soulfreq IS a band that plays together alot - we are not a collective of individual Musicians who have just met and have their faces buried in Music stands. We are a tight and rehearsed unit that knows and sells their songlist to the audience!

SoulfreQ features:

Kevin Malone - raised in Texas and from a family of Musicians. Kevin has a soulful voice that sounds great on anything from old school funk and soul to the latest rnb hits.

David Norwood - a native of Los Angeles, David plays Drums and Sings, and has done so for many Los Angeles Artists and Bands. His groove is impeccable.

Chuksingh - originally from Sydney, Australia, Chuksingh has countless experience performing as a Session Guitarist and Composer.

Eric Noble - Eric lays down the bass groove for SoulfreQ and is an in-demand Session Bass Player.

SoulfreQ was formed by Kevin, David and Chuksingh. Kevin and David had met Chuksingh in two different Musical situations and immediately clicked. Thru a love of soulful music, and wanting to perform this great music, SoulfreQ was born.

SoulfreQ play the best classic and current RnB, Soul, Funk tunes and features smooth 3 part harmonies and exceptional musicianship. SoulfreQ has intentions to write original Music also - this can also be included in a performance at the clients request!

SoulfreQ are stylish and highly presentable, affordable and a great live addition to your event.

We are punctual and require a little time to setup our system and to make sure that our levels and sound is optimal.
If you do decide to use SoulfreQ for your event, we normally require a deposit to confirm the date. SoulfreQ is a highly organised and professional unit. Once the booking is secured, rest assured that everything will run smoothly and it will be a pleasant and easy experience for everyone!
