What sets us apart is our amazing versatility that allows us to tailor our shows to the audience/venue. If the situation calls for rockin' out all night, bringin' the funk all night, a laid back affair, or mixing it up, Soul Heir does it all and does it well. We don't play "filler" or "because it's hot right now" songs. We play great songs and infuse our own style into them.
Available for private functions, weddings, festivals, corporate events. No show is too big or too small, and our aim is to keep people inspired and on the dance floor with a vast song list.

Soul Heir is a group of Sacramento-based musicians who have been playing and singing with each other for several years, in various combinations in other bands or as solo artists. We love vibing together and couldn't resist joining forces to form a band dedicated to performing songs we love to play. We pride ourselves on bringing raw talent, honesty and enthusiasm, along with a “touch of class” to every show.
Soul Heir is led by Tameeka “Lady T” Gilchrist, John Impec Cooks, and Timothy Tucker on vocals, Bandleader Harv Gilchrist on bass, Jack Starnes on guitar, Steve "Brother Boom" Rhetta on drums, and Chaz Lavier III on keyboards.
