Meet Miss Jay 💃🏽✨

Miss Jay’s love for dance began at the age of two and has grown into a lifelong journey of passion, creativity, and self-expression. She earned her BFA in Dance Theatre from Barry University and continued her training with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

With experience as a professional performer, choreographer, and instructor, Miss. Jay has taught and performed in styles including Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop.

As the founder of S.O.U.L. Ballroom — Speaking Our Unexplained Language through Dance, Miss. Jay believes dance is more than choreography—it is a language of its own. It allows us to express what words sometimes cannot, build confidence, celebrate who we are, and create moments we’ll remember forever.

Whether she’s creating a quinceañera waltz, a high-energy surprise dance, or a couple’s first dance, Miss. Jay pours passion, patience, and SOUL into every experience. Her goal is to make every dancer feel welcomed, confident, and proud of what they create together.
