Soren was an amazing musician for my kid's wedding! He played exactly what they requested (even learning a song he wasn't familiar with beforehand). He played beautifully and created a lovely atmosphere for the celebration.

We booked Soren Green to play acoustic guitar during our wedding ceremony and we had such a fantastic experience working with him! We planned our wedding remotely, and Soren met with us over Zoom and even played samples of songs for us. He was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and professional, and he made several helpful suggestions for the ceremony music. The songs he played were absolutely beautiful and made the ceremony so special – guests were even asking for details about the music afterwards. What to expect
When you hire me you'll get performance level classical guitar as background music for your wedding or function or as the main attraction. I have a vast repertoire of classical pieces from Bach and the old Spanish masters to more modern and popular selections like the Beatles and beyond. I play international favorites from Ireland, Italy, Brazil and Latin America as well. I like to mix energetic and upbeat with mellow and downtempo. Whatever the mood fits!
About
I began my musical training at age six with piano, moving to guitar at twelve. I’ve explored rock, folk, blues and bluegrass, but classical guitar has been my passion for over fifteen years now. I've studied with many esteemed classical guitarists. I currently teach classical guitar and piano at SLAM in Sugarhouse and am a board member of the Utah Classical Guitar Society.
I’ve performed as a featured artist in the 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022 Utah Arts Festivals, at Gallivan Center's Lunch Bunch concert series (10+ years), as well as numerous other events and concerts. I’m available for weddings, private parties and corporate gigs. I also perform with local Celtic band, Callanish (@SLCCelticBand).
