Sophie Rusnock took up the harp as a teenager in Ottawa, under the guidance of Juno nominee Caroline Léonardelli. She immediately fell in love with the instrument, and her passion would eventually lead her to complete a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. Sophie has made an impression both as a soloist and as an orchestral player: she has performed with a wide range of ensembles including the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and New York-based new music group Ensemble Signal.
Sophie currently resides in Toronto’s East End, and is available for weddings, events and concerts throughout the GTA. She is also currently accepting students for both harp and music theory lessons.
