What to expect
A standard belly dance show: 20 mins of performative dancing with a variety of props, followed by about 10 mins of dancing with the crowd, "getting the party started." My main focus is to ensure guests are having fun, feeling comfortable, and dancing along.
About
Sophianna has studied belly dance with the GET Dance Company, Sahara Dance Studios, and Nile Dance Studios since 2016. She loves studying the wide variety of belly dance, but specializes in Egyptian and Greek styles, namely; Raqs Sharqi, Raqs Baladi, and Tsifteteli.
She has performed throughout the DMV and abroad, including in Seattle, Washington where she danced in Jillina’s BDExperience; and in Volos Greece, where she won 2nd place at the Venus Oriental International Belly Dance Festival 2022.
With her training and experience, she is sure to provide a professional and entertaining belly dance show for you and your guests.
