Whether as a host, stand-up comedian or a edu-tainer Sonny will keep the crowd laughing, engaged and entertained. Sonny uses urban culture, storytelling, imagery, and music to engage the entire audience. Sonny has the ability to make any event light and fun!

SONNY (Clarence Hogan) has been making people laugh his entire life. Being the only male sandwiched between two demanding sisters has enhanced Sonny's comedic abilities; it was either laugh or cry. As a teacher/instructor in the urban community he has gained priceless experiences that are incorporated into his material. Sonny uses laughter to minister but also to educate and to entertain. As a Christian/Clean comic Sonny believes that we can have fun in the Body of Christ and laughter does the heart good like medicine. Sonny uses his gift to bring healing to all who hear his humor. All of Sonny’s material is original and will reflective of a clean and moral lifestyle and above all funny!

Although he hails from the Detroit area Sonny is now an official Chicago native and uses urban culture, storytelling, imagery, and music to engage the entire audience. For 3 seasons Sonny hosted and performed in a monthly comedy show at The District, a venue with music, and entertainment. In addition to doing stand up, Sonny is an event host and talented trainer; mixing education and entertainment - edu-tainer. Currently Sonny has collaborated with an event planner to develop their own brand of classy comedic events ranging from, one-man shows, speed dating socials, networking events and seasonal celebrations just to name a few.

Of course mic's are a standard but I often use music, sound and a multi-media presentation.
