They arrived early, were very professional, and did an amazing job! We couldn’t be happier with the music they played for our daughter’s wedding. They were very accommodating with song choices and were open to playing anything we wanted. We had so many compliments on their performance and they helped make the ceremony top notch! Would definitely hire them again!!!

Sydney and Phoebe are the best. They sounded amazing, they looked very classy and fashioned. They played all our requests and worked great in the team with our wedding planner, Shibaya for the wedding ceremony. They take the work so seriously!
Everything went perfectly and we couldn't be more happy with them. I wish I wouldn't hired our DJ before hand and had them play for the rest of the night.
They have very sofisticated audio system.

Sonata Noir is an elegant and bubbly string duo that performs beautiful romantic music for any occasion. We are well versed in pop, R&B, classical, jazz, Latin, Bollywood and house music, and work directly with our clients to develop their ideal set list for their event.
About
Sonata Noir
We are a women-led all female string ensemble that is able to play any requests you may have or to play at any event. Whether it’s traditional classical music, smooth jazz, or upbeat pop music for a cocktail hour, we can arrange it! Our musicians all have undergone rigorous professional training, and have performed with well-known prestigious ensembles, such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Fever’s Candlelight Concert quartet, and the Illinois Philharmonic. If you have a particularly large venue or plan to invite a big crowd, we bring all of our own sound equipment and pickups for our instruments so you will always be able to hear a high-quality performance.
