Peter C. Dzialo is a concert cellist and the lead artist of Lonely Peaks Records. After representing Connecticut as the Emerson Scholar at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Peter was admitted to The Yale Graduate School of Music at age seventeen where he studied with renowned cellist Aldo Parisot and was chosen as the founding cellist of the new Norfolk Chamber Ensemble for Yale’s Norfolk Music Festival. Since 2004 he has performed throughout New England and has been immersed in a variety of recording projects. These include bold renditions of known masterpieces, such as Kodály's Solo Cello Sonata, as well as persuasive explorations of virtuoso solo cello works of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries that were never before recorded. Among these rare works are pieces by Louis Abbiate, cellist, composer and director of the School of Music in the principality of Monaco ((phone number hidden)), which recordings have been added to the historical collection of The National Committee of Monaco Traditions. Additionally, he has collaborated with the Servais Society in Halle, Belgium, editing a new critical edition of manuscript works of Adrien-François Servais, the “Paganini” of the cello.
