About
The smooth jazz sound of Saxallogy consists of the duo textures of David Glymph (Alto Sax) and Willie Wilson (Soprano Sax and Keyboards). The blending of these dual Saxes creates harmonic tension and release of musical styles from jazz, smooth jazz, R & B, pop, and gospel music that propels the music listener to a fluid and melodic splash of smooth jazz fusion.
About David
David Middie Glymph is aptly nicknamed Saxomani because he makes his custom class vintage-finished
P. Mauriat Alto Saxophone (Model PMXA - 67R) an extension of his body and soul.
David has experience in jazz, concert and marching bands and it is evident in his stage presence.
The Saxomani has been an integral part of Mike Stone (Season 6 of America's Got Talent) and
The Kritikal Band.
David has played in festivals, concerts, fundraisers, weddings, and more. He most recently
was honored to open at Elizapalooza 2014 (major fundraiser for Eliza that has helped raise more than
one million dollars during campaign). He has played at The Jacksonville, NC Jazz Festival with the amazing
JMichael Peeples, and premiered at the new Winston's Restaurant in The Granary Hotel, Event, and Convention Center.
His new CD in production, Walking Into The New, showcases his talent with original compositions
headlined by his first single, Sunset Grooving and his future club dance hit, Midnight Misfits.
About Willie
About the artist: Willie Wilson has been studying and playing keyboard and Soprano sax music, for twenty years. His mastery of synthesizers and the revolution that has occurred, in the digital music world is profoundly heard. His Soprano sax lines run smoothly between his keyboard harmonies. When he plays live, one of the most repeated comments that Willie gets about his music is that 'It sounds so professional, I thought it was a CD." "The goal I try to communicate with my music is a message of love and hope to the listener.
