Bobby did a fantastic job keep up the competitive nature while allowing everyone to have fun. The smartphone based platform he uses adds in that game show level of excitement and keeps everyone on their toes. Would highly recommend this event.

May 5, 2024Bobby did a terrific job with our group of 75 guests! He was early to the event and had music playing while guests arrived. He helped everyone get setup on their devices. He explained everything very clearly. It was a wide variety of games that kept everyone engaged and sometimes surprised. He can accommodate topics to your liking which is fun. He was all self contained, we didn’t need to provide anything for him which helped to relieve the stress of putting the event together. I highly recommend Bobby and our group hopes to have him back annually!

When planning a smartphone trivia game, a typical scenario is that set up is completed prior to guests arriving. They will arrive to music playing comfortably, and having instructions, pre-printed at various stations around the room informing them on how to connect. These instructions will also run on the optional LIVESCREEN video component if this option is selected for the event.
I'll make announcements as we get closer to the start time of the game and explain all the rules of each round. A typical round of 20 questions take about 17 minutes to complete. The pace is much faster than a pen and paper style game, and keeps the attention of those playing and observing. Upon conclusion of a round a break is taken before another begins. This is a great time to place a keynote speaker, or any other type of additional element - or even just allow for refreshments.
A standard game will run from 3-4 rounds in length, and some rounds will offer bonus point opportunities as either "nearest wins" type questions or even physical challenges (if appropriate).
Upon conclusion of a typical game there is a final bonus questions and prizes are awarded (if any are provided). Additional games and rounds are easily added in if needed. Typical event time scheduled is 3 hours from set up to tear down, performance of a single game is about 30 minutes for player sign-in, and 90 minutes of game time. Additional time is of course available upon request, if desired and available.
After the game has concluded, music will be provided until the end of the event, for either mingling or dancing. Often the hosts of events will use this time to make closing announcements, etc.
