RON COLEMAN guitar & vocals: Ron taught himself guitar 52 years ago at age 10, by listening to Beatles records. Ron played professionally for 5 years in Jacobs Kelly, a Michigan band, from 1979 to 1984. Jacobs Kelly played throughout the US and Canada about 300 nights a year and had an album to its credit (and a single produced by Mel Schacher of Grand Funk Railroad)

NORM COLEMAN drums & vocals: Norm also learned guitar at an early age. Norm has been a professional studio engineer in Houston, Texas, as well as owned his own recording studio in Flushing, Michigan. Norm has had a lot of exposure to various instruments and began playing drums in the band in 2013.

BOB COLEMAN bass & vocals: Bob played the drums back in his elementary school days. He played guitar in his later teens. He was also the lead singer for a garage band back in Flushing MI. Bob worked in his brothers music studio too, rubbing elbows with national talent including Mel Schacher and Mitch Rider. Bob picked up the bass guitar in early 2013 and then asked Ron if he'd be interested in starting a band. Naturally, brother Norm was asked to play drums. Bob was the impetus for forming Smack Dab.

Our high quality sound equipment is totally up to date and fully functional with back up equipment included. We also have our own lighting equipment and a full charge sound and lighting expert that travels with us.
