They made a great effort to be patient, accessible, and welcoming to all the participants, regardless of movement capabilities. From the moment SM Tango arrives, your event is in good hands. Here is what the experience looks like from booking to curtain call:
Before the Event: We communicate directly with your event coordinator to understand the flow of your evening, confirm logistics, and ensure everything runs smoothly. We arrive 30 to 60 minutes before showtime depending on venue access and rehearsal availability. For group ensemble performances, we strongly prefer an on-site rehearsal to ensure the space and music works for the full cast.
The Performance: Our showcase numbers run 2 to 4 minutes per piece and can be choreographed to your selected music or ours. The performance is elegant, dramatic, and designed to stop the room.
Atmosphere Entertainment: For atmosphere sets, we circulate through your event in 10 - 20 minute sets, dancing socially with each other and engaging your guests. A typical atmosphere booking runs 3 to 4 hours. This option is perfect for cocktail hours, dinner parties, galas, and casino nights where you want continuous elegant entertainment without a formal show stopping moment.
Latin Night and Multi-Style Events: Looking for a full Latin experience? In addition to Argentine Tango, we perform and teach Salsa and Bachata, making us the perfect fit for Latin themed nights, multicultural celebrations, and events that want variety and high energy on the dance floor all evening.
Interactive Guest Lessons: One of our most popular additions! We invite guests to join us on the floor for a short intro to tango, salsa, or bachata. No experience needed, just a willingness to have fun. This always becomes a highlight of the evening.
After the Performance: We are happy to take photos with guests and stay for a designated time if included in your package.
Miki & Savio are a professional Argentine Tango couple based in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing over 20 years of combined performance experience to every stage. Their work spans corporate galas, private celebrations, weddings, cultural events, and international productions.
Miki is a seasoned performer, choreographer, and 2018 Argentine Tango USA (ATUSA) Champion in the Stage Category. Her performance credits include Dance Captain for Donny Osmond, Good Morning America, the Latin Grammys, BET, and a memorable performance with Kool and the Gang at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Savio holds a formal dance teaching degree from Brazil and has been teaching and performing Argentine Tango professionally for over 10 years, bringing deep cultural authenticity to every performance.
Together they offer more than a performance, they create an experience. Whether delivering a breathtaking showcase number, mingling through your event as atmosphere entertainers, or inviting your guests onto the floor for an interactive tango lesson, SM Tango tailors every appearance to the vision of the event.

Please review the following requirements before booking to ensure a smooth and successful event:
Floor Surface: A smooth hard floor is required for all SM Tango performances. Wood and tile floors are ideal. Carpet is not suitable for tango and we are unable to perform on carpeted surfaces. If your venue has concrete flooring, please note that we do not carry event insurance and recommend confirming coverage with your venue coordinator prior to booking.
Sound System: Clients are responsible for providing a working sound system with the ability to connect via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable. Please confirm your AV setup in advance so we can coordinate music delivery smoothly.
Space Requirements: We require a clear performance area of at least 10 by 10 feet for couple performances. Larger ensemble performances require additional space and we can confirm specific dimensions based on your booking.
Arrival and Setup: We can arrive 30 to 60 minutes prior to performance time. Earlier arrival is preferred when an on-site rehearsal is possible. For ensemble bookings, on-site rehearsal is strongly preferred and should be factored into your event timeline and budget. We will need a "green room" or an area to keep our belongings and change into costume.
Travel: SM Tango is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and available for travel nationwide. Travel fees apply for events outside the Las Vegas metro area and are determined based on location and event budget. We are happy to discuss travel arrangements for the right opportunity.
Music: We perform to pre-recorded music. A curated set list is available or we can work with music of your choice with advance notice.
Our music selection is fully customizable to your event vision and atmosphere. We perform to pre-recorded music and are happy to work with your preferred songs or curate a set list tailored to your event theme.
