Is a unique, modern and inclusive take on the centuries old tradition of brass chamber music. We perform in a wide ranging variety of styles, venues and scenarios. Our capabilities and musicality create an unforgettable atmosphere of musical brilliance, warmth and connection that work seamlessly throughout a wide variety of settings and occasions.

From solo performances and recitals, kids fun and educational concerts, community events or even commissioning new works for your arts organization, or simply unique and original takes on musical favorites, SKYLINE BONES is a flexible, lightweight, mobile and dynamic musical arts ensemble. Equally well suited to a wide range of settings from small to large spaces, background or main stage, indoor / outdoor venues or even strolling throughout crowds, we are low maintenance, easy setup and smoothly flexible for transitioning within styles, spaces and audiences.

Skyline Bones is an original performing arts ensemble that has fresh and dynamic interpretations of many familiar styles, including classical, jazz, pop favorites and original compositions.

SKYLINE BONES - KEY POINTS / WHAT TO EXPECT
* Uniquely wide dynamic range (volumes from very soft to loud) and do not require amplification. However if needed we do pickup nicely with sound systems and combine with other amplified instruments.
* Flexible, lightweight, compact with capability to move quickly and unobtrusively for easy, seamless transition to other parts of your event and musical setup areas.
* We typically perform a cappella as a trombone trio ensemble. As such we do not usually provide background instruments, such as drums, guitars, singers.
* If you are looking for top 40 hits, Youtube or other popular tunes favorites, we would love to create a unique arrangement just for your event! Just remember that it will be our trombone trio interpretation and not a note for note recreation of your favorite song- but we promise you will love it! :)

Skyline Bones also collaborates to create original musical trombone trio compositions with arts organizations. THE SKYLINE BONES trombone trio concept is a unique take on brass chamber music. Like the beautiful and diverse city in which we live and work, SKYLINE BONES aims to build a new artistic skyline of music to our community.
Skyline Bones was founded in 2019 by three friends, performing a trombone trio community recital of new compositions, jazz and pop favorites and classical compositions. With our distinctive musicality and gregarious approach to audience participation we won over many fans and quickly gained regular performance residencies at Chelsea Market in Manhattan, New York City Parks concert series and church and community events.
Skyline Bones is equally at home with many styles of music from vocal transcriptions to jazz arrangements classical compositions and pop standards for any style or occasion or event.
Our collective of trombonist performers currently hold top positions throughout the New York City area, including Broadway shows, NYC jazz foundations, professional symphony orchestras and original music composition commissions throughout the greater New York City area.
Skyline Bones has performed with arts organizations such as Mozart for Munchkins, New York City Parks Dept., Chelsea Market and the Allentown Symphony chamber music series.
Skyline Bones is a champion of trombone trios genre. A great deal of our trombone trio music selections have been arranged, adapted, or even originally composed by members of our organization especially for our group! As a unique ensemble we would love to hand craft our special take on your styles of musical event. Give us your favorite tune and we will create an unforgettable arrangement just for you! We also are careful curators of the historic, collecting many unique and specialized arrangements throughout many centuries of musical literature. With over 25 years of experience with the trombone trio genre, Skyline Bones ensembles have performed outreach concerts for community events, corporate functions, public spaces, churches, assisted living facilities, schools, churches and corrections facilities throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
