Six Bar Break is a full throttle, roots rock trio homed in Harrisburg PA. Helmed by the groups primary songwriter; Ben Bollinger; they've been spreading the word about the band throughout the mid-Atlantic and picking up new fans everywhere they go.
Our style and sound takes a little bit of inspiration from yesterday and from today. It draws from our favorite musicians and bands, but still feels uniquely original. We're constantly driven to create something of our own. Something built on the riffs, beats, and solos and glued together with a vocal begging to be heard, and a story ready to be told.
The band independently released their latest EP in May 2017; "Broken Road".

Six Bar Break provides the full concert experience. Our shows are 1-3 sets of original alt rock/southern rock music. Depending on venue we can deliver the full rock show or a smaller acoustic arrangement of any of our songs or sets. If there's something special you're looking for; just ask and we can work to make it happen.
Six Bar Break is an all original alt rock/southern rock trio. Drawing from an ever widening span of genre preference has created music that can only be described as uniquely their own. The band's personal differences are the strength that has built the riffs, beats and solos that seem to hum with energy.
“From the very first time we played together everything has just clicked,” said Six Bar Break front man, Ben Bollinger. “How many times in a singer/song writer's career does he share a song with strangers and find himself blown away on the first collaboration? Never, or I would have told you never six months ago, I know it's possible now.”
Storming onto the music scene in the spring of 2013, playing local venues, and streaming live to their fans as a YouTube Channel Partner. Six Bar Break soon found themselves consistently ranked as one of the top five bands in Central PA; leading them to proudly release their first EP in April 2014.
As listeners from around the state, and globe interact with the band they're often humbled by the reach of their music. From 5 year old fans to aging hippies they consistently hear praise and personal stories relating to the music. With an LP in process, Six Bar Break is currently in the studio; but continues to stream live monthly via their YouTube Partner channel and post to their followers on Facebook, Twitter and the bands website.
Our needs are minimal. A power outlet or outlets capable of powering the PA, guitar amplifiers and effects and a flat area to setup all of the musical gear. Please let us know if you have any special venue specifications.
