What to expect

When an audience comes to see Siren Song SHZAM, they get more than a singer standing behind a microphone — they get a polished, expressive live vocal performance built around connection, variety, and memorable moments.

As a solo vocalist or as part of the Siren Song duo, I bring powerful, emotive vocals, a wide-ranging song selection, and the ability to shape the performance to the energy of the room. My shows can be elegant and romantic, warm and nostalgic, upbeat and fun, or full-on crowd-pleasing, depending on the event and the audience.

Clients hire Siren Song SHZAM when they want music that feels personal, professional, and engaging without needing the footprint of a full band. I perform with high-quality backing tracks and professional sound, allowing me to offer a full, polished musical experience while keeping setup practical for weddings, private parties, corporate events, holiday celebrations, veteran events, community gatherings, and milestone occasions.

For weddings, I can provide heartfelt ceremony songs, cocktail hour music, dinner-friendly favorites, or special vocal moments that help make the day feel personal and unforgettable. For private parties and corporate events, I can create a mix of familiar favorites across decades and genres, including pop, country, rock, soul, Motown, standards, dance favorites, holiday music, and powerful ballads. For veteran, community, and seasonal events, I can include patriotic selections, nostalgic classics, singalong favorites, and music that fits the tone of the occasion.

One of the strengths of Siren Song SHZAM is versatility. I can move from a tender ceremony ballad to a powerhouse vocal showcase, from classic country to pop favorites, from oldies and Motown to dance-floor energy, and from classy background music to songs that get guests smiling, singing along, or getting up to dance. I read the room and adjust the energy so the music supports the event instead of overpowering it.

Clients can expect clear communication, thoughtful preparation, professional presentation, reliable arrival and setup, quality sound, and a performance planned with their specific event in mind. I care about the details — the timeline, the mood, the audience, the special moments, and the songs that matter most.

Whether you need a short featured performance, wedding ceremony music, cocktail hour entertainment, a holiday party vocalist, a corporate event performer, or several hours of live music for a celebration, Siren Song SHZAM brings warmth, vocal power, personality, and professionalism to the stage.

The goal is simple: to make your event feel more memorable, more personal, and more alive through music.

Additional booking notes

Siren Song SHZAM provides professional live vocal entertainment for solo and duo bookings, with setup needs that are simple and event-friendly.

For most performances, access to a standard grounded electrical outlet is required. A compact battery-powered setup may be available for very short ceremony-style performances or simple vocal features, depending on the location, performance length, guest count, and sound needs.

Minimum performance space for solo bookings is approximately 4’ x 5’. A larger area is preferred when possible, especially for duo performances, longer events, or events where guests may be moving around the performance area. The performance space should be flat, dry, stable, and clear of guest traffic, service paths, and open flames.

For outdoor events, the performance area must be protected from rain, moisture, excessive wind, and direct sun. A covered or shaded area is required for most outdoor setups. If weather is uncertain, the client or venue should have a suitable indoor or covered backup location available. Sound equipment cannot be set up where it may be exposed to rain or unsafe conditions.

I provide a professional sound setup appropriate for most small-to-mid-sized events. Larger venues, outdoor events, very large guest counts, complex layouts, or events with unusual sound requirements may require additional coordination with the venue and/or the addition of a sound technician for optimal sound production. Please share details about the venue, guest count, and event layout when requesting a quote so the best setup can be planned.

For dimly lit spaces or evening outdoor events, basic lighting in the performance area is appreciated so equipment, lyrics, and setup can be safely managed.

Please allow adequate access before the performance start time for load-in, setup, and sound check. Nearby parking or a convenient loading area is helpful, especially for larger setups or venues with stairs, elevators, or long load-in distances.

For longer bookings, short breaks may be scheduled as part of the performance time. Special song requests, ceremony selections, first dances, holiday songs, patriotic selections, or other must-have music should be discussed in advance whenever possible.

My goal is to make the music feel effortless for the client and enjoyable for the guests, while making sure the setup is safe, polished, and appropriate for the event space.

Set list

Siren Song SHZAM does not rely on a one-size-fits-all setlist. Each performance is shaped around the event, audience, theme, and desired atmosphere.

For weddings, private parties, corporate events, holiday celebrations, veteran events, and milestone occasions, I can help create a music flow that fits the moment — from elegant ceremony selections and cocktail-hour favorites to nostalgic classics, country storytelling, pop favorites, holiday music, patriotic selections, upbeat party songs, and powerful vocal features.

Because my song range spans multiple decades and genres, setlists can vary widely from event to event. Some performances are built around a specific theme, era, or mood, while others are designed to move naturally with the crowd. For more formal events, I can prepare a curated list in advance based on the client’s preferences and event consultation. For more relaxed or interactive events, I can also work from requests and read the room as the event unfolds.

Sample styles and song categories may include:

Influences and inspiration

My musical influences span decades, which is a big part of what makes Siren Song SHZAM such a flexible fit for different events and audiences.

I grew up loving the big voices, unforgettable hooks, and bold stage presence of the 1980s and early 1990s, with artists like Whitney Houston and Madonna shaping my love for powerful, memorable vocal performances. I’m also deeply influenced by the storytelling and emotional connection of country music, including Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Martina McBride, and other artists who know how to make a lyric feel personal.

At the same time, I’ve always loved the music that came before me — the tight harmonies and vintage charm of The Andrews Sisters, the timeless feel of 50s and 60s oldies, Motown, doo-wop, classic country, early rock & roll, and songs that still bring people together across generations.

My more current influences include artists like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Ella Langley, Luke Bryan, and other modern performers who blend strong vocals, emotional storytelling, and crowd-friendly energy.

Because my influences are so varied, my performances can move comfortably from elegant ceremony music to nostalgic favorites, from country ballads to danceable pop, from vintage classics to powerhouse vocal moments. I love music that connects with people — the songs they remember, the songs they sing along to, and the songs that make a special event feel even more personal.
