Overview
I am a solo artist that performs doo-wop, Motown, 70's old school soul jams, and fabulous songs from the disco era that had us dancing until the break of dawn. It's my privilege to sing songs from such legends as Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka, The Buckinghams, Jay and the Americans, Classic IV, The Spinners, Tom Jones, and Gary Puckett and The Union Gap.
Depending on the clients budget, I could come solo with sound tech, sound equipment, and music tracks all professionally done or with my band known as The Soulful Struts (a 4-7 piece band). Another option is, I can come with backup singers along with my music tracks, sound equipment, and sound tech. Guaranteed quality and high energy show.

Michael performed for us recently at Paradise Oaks RV Resort. He was absolutely wonderful, mingling with the audience before the show, interacting throughout the show and providing constant entertainment. The dance floor was always full, enjoying numerous hits that brought back memories of earlier years. Thank you Michael again for a great evening.

Celebrated my Husbands 70th Birthday. He is a lover of the oldies and I wanted to do something special for him. That is where Michael Russo came in and created a Magical experience for him! Michael's performance was outstanding and he engaged the crowd, who ranged in ages from 1 to 95. Most importantly, after a year of medical scares, he made my husband sing, dance and Smile! Thank you, Michael Russo, for creating this wonderful memory for us!

WOW! I hired Michael Russo to provide entertainment for our community Valentine Dance, and he was AWESOME! He had everyone in the room up dancing, or singing along by the second song. He interacted with the guest and had them involved. I had two other communities who also attended and requested Michaels information. He will definately be asked back due to popular demand. Thanks Michael for making Valentine special for the community.

About
Michael Russo, an original South Philly guy who hung and sang on the corner of 13th St. & Morris in South Philly, grew up loving Motown, Oldies, and the Philadelphia sounds of the stylistics, the Intruders, Eddie Holman, and the Delfonics. Michael joined a band in the early 70's and had the privilege of singing lead and sharing all of the songs from that era in the South Jersey night clubs. When the Resorts Casino opened, Mr. Russo had the privilege of opening for Gladys Knight and the Pips, Jackie Wilson and the Tramps. Today, he still continues to work on a national level and also sings doo-wop, an excellent tribute to the original Duprees, and has had the privilege of singing lead on "This Magic Moment" with the Reflections. He has toured with Eddie Holman, The Flamingos, The Drifters, as well as worked with The Mystics. He does The Stylistics, Delfonics, Motown favorites, and 70's old school soul.
