DJ King Kabeza brings extensive experience as a professional DJ and live sound engineer. Having managed audio for numerous events, they understand the technical nuances of acoustics, mixing, and crowd flow, ensuring crystal-clear sound and seamless transitions all night long.
Streia has a history of performing live vocals at various local events, developing a versatile style that connects with audiences across genres. With a passion for storytelling through song, they bring warmth and authenticity to every performance.
Together, we combine technical precision with musical soul. We are deeply invested in Houston’s diverse community, offering authentic bilingual (English/Spanish) sets and expertise in Latin and Arabic traditions. As a new act, we offer personalized attention, flexible pricing, and an unwavering commitment to making your day special. Power Needs: We require access to two standard 110V grounded outlets (dedicated circuits preferred) within 20 feet of our performance area. If the venue cannot provide adequate power, we can rent a silent generator at an additional cost ($150–$250 depending on duration and location).
Stage/Performance Space: We need a flat, stable surface approximately 8ft x 6ft for our setup. If performing outdoors, please ensure the ground is dry and level; we can provide stage risers or dance floor panels if needed (additional fee may apply). A shaded area is recommended for equipment protection during daytime events.
Load-In/Access: Please provide clear load-in access for us and our equipment (approx. 3 large cases + speaker stands). Elevator access is required if the event space is not on the ground floor. We typically arrive 90 minutes before start time for setup and soundcheck.
Lighting: We bring basic stage lighting (uplights/wash lights) to illuminate our performance area. However, we rely on the venue’s ambient lighting for the rest of the room. If you have specific uplighting or dance floor lighting preferences, please coordinate with your venue or let us know so we can recommend a trusted vendor.
Sound Check: A brief 15-minute soundcheck is included in our arrival time. We will work with the venue’s existing PA system if it meets professional standards, but we strongly prefer using our own high-quality audio gear to guarantee optimal vocal clarity and bass response.
Weather Contingency: For outdoor ceremonies/receptions, we require a confirmed backup indoor location or tented area in case of rain, wind, or extreme heat/humidity that could damage equipment or compromise performer comfort.
Restrictions: Please inform us of any venue restrictions regarding decibel levels, curfews, or prohibited items (e.g., candles near equipment). We are happy to adjust volume levels to comply with local noise ordinances while still ensuring guests hear the music clearly.
