I am a Soul Singer & Songwriter based in Los Angeles, Ca. After graduating from Berklee College of music, I've been working in LA for about 5 years and have had the opportunity to perform at various local venues such as Hotel Cafe, The Mint, The Goldfish, and Silverlake Lounge. Additionally, I've also performed for events in spaces such at Toms Flagship in Venice, Neptune Tattoo Studio, Sofar Sounds, and The Four Seasons Beverly Hills. I perform my original music, a fusion of Soul and Jazz, and I also perform my own renditions of songs by popular soul musicians. However, you will notice that I try to make my renditions of songs unique and original!

December 19, 2023I’m Dani, I am the talent buyer at the Goldfish in Highland Park. Simha not only performed but curated an incredible evening at our venue. Their professionalism and sweetness was already a win in my book and then they performed. Simha’s warming, beautiful vocals accompanied by full band with backing singers giving perfect harmonies was one of the best performances in our space in 2023, and probably ever. Moving, powerful and vulnerable, I highly recommend Simha for your events. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a few tears (multiple times).

You can hire me as a duo, where it would be me + an accompanist (piano, guitar, or bass), OR you can hire me with a full band (lead vocals, bass, guitar, drums, piano). No matter what the setting is, I guarantee that my band and I will be able to adapt! If you don't have a back-line of gear (stereo system, live sound engineer, drum kit, etc) we can accommodate by bringing our gear.
I have a versatile repertoire from low key lounge vibes to upbeat high energy. You can expect a variety of covers and originals generally influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sade, H.E.R., and Bill Withers!

Simha creates a worldly neo soul musical experience. Experiencing the intersection of different cultures in the SF Bay Area, Simha grew up with an ear for both western and eastern musical influences. Sonic waves from North Indian Classical music to Jazz, he introduces a new element of discovery for his listeners. Expressing his heart and energy with lush soul harmonies and ethereal textures, Simha hopes to help claim space for Queer Bipoc artists in the jazz-leaning side of the industry.
As Simha moves forward with the growth of his music career, he hopes to draw inspiration from a rapidly changing world. With an EP out on all platforms, Simha is now working on new music with collaborators.

I have a stereo system that works for a small quartet band, but if the venue seats more than ~100 people, then our sound system might not be the best for the setting.
