Performances consist of a soloist or an ensemble (duo, trio, or quartet). Music styles vary upon request and are tailored to fit your personal tastes! See link below to be directed to full repertoire. We also provide free consultation and rehearsal for weddings.
The pricing of the ensembles is based on how many musicians you hire and for how long, and not based on their instruments.

When you hire us, expect us to show up prepared and ready to start playing 15 minutes before the scheduled time. We bring all of our equipment (except chairs).

We do exactly what we are hired to do, but are prepared in case things don't go as planned. If things go wrong at the day of the event (like a prolonged entrance in a wedding ceremony), we are very quick to adjust so that there are no awkward pauses in a flawless performance, and are able to accommodate for a variety of last-minute changes.

RATES:
The specific rate depends on the gig and distance travelled, but on average -
Flat rate for all events under one hour in duration in Seattle ($250 per person in ensemble). For wedding ceremonies, this includes consultation, entrance music, ceremony, and exit music!
For background music at events rate is $100 per hour per performer (meaning $100 an hour for a solo violinist, $200 an hour for a duo, etc.) for each additional hour on top of the $250 first hour.
For concerts rate is $200 per performer per hour.
There are additional fees dependent on the location of the event; for an example, there is a $400 flat rate for events that are 100+ miles away from Seattle.

My name is Mariya, and I'm a professionally trained symphony musician. I hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from The Boston Conservatory and I am currently Associate Principal of the Helena Symphony.

Music is not only my passion but my full-time career. I really love making clients' events become really special with my music, so I formed Silver Strings in 2012 with my colleagues. Currently, I am both a player with the ensemble as well as the group's manager.

We're a music group comprised of local classically-trained musicians who perform on a regular basis in concerts, gigs, and community outreach events.

We LOVE playing gigs, and strive perfection and excellence in both performance and service to make your special event's music stress-free. We offer free consultation for every event to help choose the perfect music for you. Classical, pop, contemporary, we do it all!

We perform acoustically, so no amplifiers or microphones are required.
We require armless chairs for all ensembles except for solo violin/viola, and violin/viola duos.

Outdoor events: back up location or cover is required in case of rain and as cover in case of full sun. For our instruments' safety we do not perform outdoors in temperatures below 50°F, in direct sunlight if over 30 minutes, or under precipitation.
