Silantra is led by Nicole Arrage, a seasoned jazz vocalist and songwriter with a degree in Jazz Voice Performance from McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. She has performed in some of Canada’s most prestigious venues, including Salle Pierre-Mercure, Orford Musique, Rialto Theatre, Upstairs Jazz Bar, l’Astral, and Christ Church Cathedral for Nuit Blanche Montréal.
Nicole has shared the stage with renowned musicians like Ranee Lee, Carlos Jiménez, Dave Laing, Dave Watts, and Taurey Butler and has been featured as a soloist with the Musicians of the World Symphony Orchestra, McGill’s Contemporary Music Ensemble, Jazz Orchestras, and Chamber Jazz Ensembles.
With over nine years of professional experience as a performer, songwriter, and vocal coach, Nicole brings passion, expertise, and a deep connection to her music, making each Silantra performance unique and unforgettable.
