SIERRA ROC is a high energy power-pop/classic rock cover band (centered around '80's hair bands) based in Reno NV. High-octave, range-driven vocals and stellar guitar performances raise Sierra Roc to the top of the premier cover rock bands in the area. Known for its talented and professionally-minded members, deep set list, and energetic performances, Sierra Roc always delivers.
Female vocalist of Sierra Roc is an acclaimed singer and songwriter with years of performance and writing experience ... many of her songs play on TV and radio. While Sierra Roc is a premier cover band, it can also deliver radio-worthy original music performances as an opening act for regional/major acts.

About
Happily transplanted in Reno after years of performing and songwriting in New York City and Nashville, April Higuera (NYC) fronts Sierra Roc with her high-octane, range-driven vocals (which have been likened to Kelly Clarkson, Pink, and Ann Wilson of Heart). Lead guitarist Kevin Jones (Boston) and bassist Rollin Bonner (SF Bay Area), East coast meets West coast, provide solid and energetic performances, while native Nevadan Corey Smith (Reno) brings it all home with his multi-instrument talent and strong roots in the Reno/Tahoe community.
The band comprises quality people who are mindful, authentic, reliable, and credible musicians that are focused on providing high level entertainment, responsibly, respectfully, and sharing fun with audiences in and around Reno/Tahoe/Sacramento.
