ShonniJ did a solo dance performance for us at a Juneteenth celebration. She's an amazingly gifted dancer who has a brilliant future ahead of her as a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She's very professional, very easy to work with, and she met with us before the event in order to look over the performance space. She arrived punctually, gave a flawless performance, and was the highlight of the event. The audience was mesmerized, and she received a standing ovation! I giver her my highest recommendation!

Be warned this is not a person you should not seek to do business with. Literally cancelled less than 24 hours before major company event.
Full disclosure, there was an issue with our accounting office not getting her deposit mailed to her on time but part of that delay was caused by her attempting to do business under her business name that is no longer legally registered. Her w-9 was flagged when our accounting offices ran the EIN she provided.
Knowing that this was a big company event and people were expecting her, I tried to work things out by giving her a company credit card, but she refused and only would accept payment through Zelle. I explained that I do not know of many/any larger corporations that pay through a Zelle account… maybe a wire transfer but not Zelle.
Bottom line is , I think she decided at the last minute she didn’t want to do it and this was a convenient excuse for her. When I threatened to let others know about her shady business practices she proceeded to called me a “B****” and went into a full
tirade as I was hanging up.
I really wish I would have paid attention to all the red flags but I thought I was trying to support a young minority business owner …who regrettably in the end did not deserve it.
Fortunately, our event was still a success but felt it necessary to warn others, who may not end up being so lucky.
