June 3, 2025Amazing!!
Shengyu played at my micro wedding and was amazing! The list of songs that she knows is so long and there’s mostly all the songs you would want for a special day. She was great to work with and very professional and sweet. I definitely recommend!

Shengyu was incredible for my sister's wedding. She came prepared and early. Communicated well will the Wedding Coordinator and made a wonderful and memorable ceremony experience.
She played the songs we requested beautifully. WE were super happy she was able to play a special Spanish song for the newlyweds. She was flexible with her time and made sure to stay until guests were ready to receive the Bride and Groom for their main entrance. Thank you Shengyu.

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly an honor to be a part of your sister’s special day. I’m so glad everything came together smoothly and that the music added to the joy of the celebration. It was especially meaningful to be able to play the special Spanish song for the newlyweds—I could feel how much it meant to everyone. Thank you again for having me, and I wish the couple a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories! 💖

March 31, 2025Scam
We were in the initial stages of booking Shengyu, and while she appeared pleasant during our first conversation, circumstances quickly changed. Just two days later, due to my father's health issues, we had to reschedule our wedding to November. Unfortunately, Shengyu informed us that she would not be available for this new date. While we were understandably disappointed, we thanked her and wished her well.
It's important to note that no official contracts were signed during our discussions. However, we are now facing daily texts from her demanding a $200 deposit, despite her not being part of our wedding. We inquired once more about her availability, only to receive a firm "no," alongside instructions for payment. Today, she escalated the situation with an almost threatening message stating, “Otherwise, I will need to explore alternative steps to resolve this matter.” This behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable, given the circumstances we are dealing!

Hi Angelo,
I understand that your wedding plans have changed, and I truly sympathize with your situation. However, I want to clarify that my $200 deposit policy was clearly stated in my inquiry, and we verbally agreed to it over the phone. Based on this commitment, I turned down another gig for the same date and even arranged for another violinist at your request, which meant both of us lost potential work.
Deposits serve as a standard form of protection for musicians, ensuring that we don’t lose income due to last-minute changes.
Best,
Shengyu
