I've been singing, writing songs, and performing for more than 20 years, and I always provide a high-energy act to whatever clubs, squares, bars, festivals, weddings, or parties I perform at. I sing a wide variety of generas, everything from Country and Southern Rock to Pop, Rock and Oldies. Requests are always welcome and if I can't sing it I will play it.
I limit breaks to a minimum, if I take any at all, and always play break music when I do, the main focus being to always keep you and your guests entertained and having a good time.
If you have any questions or concerns in booking me please contact me so that I can answer them and hopefully have the pleasure of entertaining for you.
Shawn did an amazing job for my wedding and went above and beyond our expectations. He work with us to get all the music together for our first dance, boutique toss, harder removal, and even mixed a few songs together for a traditional Thai dance. He is very responsive to calls, texts, and emails. I would recommend him for any event you are having since he goes above and beyond to make your event special.

"Shawn Ash, a singer/songwriter based in Lake County, Florida, has been crafting original music and captivating audiences with his performances since his early 20s. In 2010, his musical journey took a significant turn when he was signed to a record label in Atlanta, GA. Under the label's guidance, Shawn recorded his debut single, "Don't Take the Beer," a track that made waves on both radio airwaves and digital platforms, leaving a lasting impression.
Despite the label's focus on Hip-Hop, Rap, and R&B, Shawn's talent caught the attention of label owner Harold "Self" Chisholm, who recognized his potential. With encouragement from Chisholm, Shawn collaborated with his friend CJ Solar to create "Don't Take the Beer," setting the stage for his musical career to flourish.
In the years that followed, Shawn continued to hone his craft, collaborating with esteemed producer and sound engineer Paul Gasparro at End Of Autumn (EOA) Studios in Atlanta, GA. Together, they crafted the powerful track "This One's Gonna Hurt," showcasing Shawn's versatility and artistry.
In 2012, life's twists and turns led Shawn back to Orlando, Florida, where he found solace in the embrace of family. However, it wasn't long before his passion for music reignited, fueled by the unwavering support of his partner.
Today, Shawn is a familiar face on the vibrant music scene of The Villages, where he regularly performs at iconic venues such as Brownwood, Lake Sumter, and Spanish Springs. From lively bars like City Fire and Cody's to serene settings like Legacy Poolside and Whispering Oaks Winery in Oxford, FL, Shawn's music resonates with audiences of all backgrounds, making every performance a memorable experience."
600+ songs in our library. We do at shows from pretty much every genre and can customize new material should something be requested with a couple weeks in advance so that we can prepare for it.
Shawn has a wide octave range that can accommodate various genres'. His wheelhouse is Country Music (Old & New), but he also likes to go outside the box and do anything he can because it is fun and helps broaden the entertainment he can provide.
To many to name, however, what influences us the most is entertainers that care more about the people they are playing for and not the next break they can take or how much they are receiving to perform. Being an artist is about giving not receiving and making sure that each performance is unique and the best it can be.
